Mini World Cup

Forty schools, each representing a soccer nation, took part in a Mini World Cup tournament at Durban's iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium over the weekend.

Organised by Phindani Nene, Director of Durban Stars, it was a huge success and a wonderful reminder of our Rainbow Nation.

In the girls division, Slovinia were eventual victors after defeating Germany 2-0 in the final.

The boys division was won by Argentina after overcoming Italy in a penalty shootout. The other two semi-final contenders were Australia and Brasil.
